It all started when a mutual friend told Janine that he had a friend who also likes recorders.
Yes, that kind of recorder.
Later, at Target, Janine showed her true colors, and a precedent had been set…
…she was not like the others.
Eventually, they began to collaborate, working live sound shows together,
and they very much enjoyed working together,
and contemplating the inevitable heat-death of the universe together,
and wrapping audio cables properly, together.
They shared with each other about their pasts.
They sang songs that reminded them of the good times

Then they started a wedding DJ business together:
And then they finally had a conversation, in which they both admitted their mutual desire to share a lot more than a wedding DJ business. And it was also much more fun to work other people’s weddings as a couple!
They went hiking.
They went snowboarding.
They bought a car on the east coast, visited family, and then drove it to the west coast. On the way through Texas, they accidentally picked up a dog.
He turned out to be a terrible decision, as you can see.
Then they got engaged, and caused a lot of people to visit Annapolis.
