A Tire

(Attire)

Somewhere between cocktail and semi-formal, spooky and/or vintage highly encouraged! We’re getting married on Samhain/Día de Muertos, so the veil will be thin! Wear your dead great-auntie’s haunted necklace or those earrings made from teeth. Jan is a spooky girl and loves all things dark, steampunk, or historical-inspired. Huge bonus points if you come in an outfit you made yourself! Attire always confuses me, but for a guideline, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourselves, but not in jeans with holes or sneakers. Dark/nice jeans are fine if you’re going for that western look! There may be children present, so be mindful of that.

The ground will be all grass, so be wary of that while choosing footwear.

Maryland has chaos weather, but November is usually nice! CHECK WEATHER AHEAD OF TIME because it could be 70ºF/21ºC and raining, or blazing sunshine but 19ºF/-7ºC, so pack/dress accordingly!

Friday, 31 October 2025 – Halloween!!

Halloween is the night before our special day, and our neighborhood is PRIME for trick-or-treating!! Decatur Ave is the hot spot (ask Janine/Bach family for further info here). If you’d like to take your kids around Bay Ridge for Halloween, you’re bound to have a great time, so pack those costumes!!

Sunday, 2 November 2025 – “Brunch”

We’ll be hosting a “brunch” in the tent starting about 11:00am. There will be drinks: coffee, teas, hot chocolate, our signature drink if there’s any left; and numerous yummy confections: various pastries like muffins, coffee cake, and danishes, and maybe even pumpkin pie! (No hot food though, too much to manage.) It will be very informal.
Absolutely everyone is invited, except for Heidi.

Hey, listen – thanks for being patient with two career ADHD’ers, attempting to find the executive function needed to produce the most important event of their lives. Info has been slow, and we may have missed something. Or a dozen.
PLEASE reach out to us with any questions or confusion you might have, because you’re likely not the only one!

Robin – will certainly misinform you so don’t call him

CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!!!!

That’s Jan and a giant banana slug…a janana, if you will.
